Camp Susie is a full day camp for disadvantaged girls and teens that offers a variety of activities and opportunities for our campers. Each week offers excitement from beginning to end (inside and outside activities) that induce life lessons and gardening.
A sliding scale is available based on previous year's federal income tax return, an award letter from the government assistance program, AISD / FWISD free or reduced lunch program. CCMS is accepted.
Parents and prospective campers are expected to attend a day of orientation prior to enrollment. It provides an opportunity to meet the staff, see firsthand camp offerings to our campers and receive information packets with application, expectations, finance and goals for campers.
Each camper will be given a T-shirt with the opportunity to purchase extras if so desired. Each camper and worker will be required to wear ID badges with pictures. All parents and visitors attending a day's activity will be required to wear a temporary badge as well.
A light lunch / snack will be served on day of orientation. Parents are encouraged to attend family day at end of camp. A light lunch / snack will be served.
